Today we paused to remember the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who served during the Second World War.
Standing at the World War II memorial in Woodhall Spa is a powerful reminder of the men and women who gave so much for the freedoms we enjoy today. Many of the young airmen who flew from nearby RAF Woodhall Spa never returned home, yet their bravery continues to inspire generations.
We honour their memory, reflect on their sacrifice, and give thanks for their service.
